Katake Attorneys Incorporated was established in 2010; the Director is Tumisang Sylvester Katake. The firm is situated at No 537 Ontdekkers Road,Florida North,Rooderpoort.
Katake Attorneys Inc. is a law firm that was founded and registered in 2010 with the Law Society of South Africa and is affiliated with the Legal Practice Council (Gauteng), with the objective to assist its clients in conveyancing, litigation and commercial work in and around the Northern Provinces and around South Africa. The firm was incorporated in March 2018.
We specialise in the following fields of law, Labour and Employment Law, Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Review and Drafting of Contracts, Land Rights, Forensic Investigations and Due Diligence, Legal Opinions and Spluma Related Matters.

Since its establishment the firm has and still continues to render services for various corporate clients such as Rand Water, Sibanye Still Water Limited, Liberty Group Insurance Limited, Land And Agricultural Bank of South Africa, Hollard Insurance, Council for Medical Scheme, City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan, City of Matlosana Local Municipality.

Our firm boasts itself with a track record of Training and Development of its staff members. Although we are a small firm, we practice different areas of law from Criminal to Commercial and Property Law. Our Candidate attorneys will be exposed to all fields of law practiced by our firm and necessary training will be provided by the firm.

All our Candidate Attorneys (Candidate Legal Practitioners) are contracted to the firm for a period of 2 (TWO) years. After completion, provided all requirements have been complied with our firm will ensure that process of admission is carried out without any impediments.

We also offer continuous training to our staff including support staff. We also rotate staff to enable them exposure to different spheres of practice in our firm.

Our firm has on a numerous occasions where the need arises been in a position to impart the knowledge obtained through practice over the years, to our various clients by mentoring, advising and training where possible.

Katake Attorneys Inc was established in 2010; the firm is owned by Tumisang Sylvester Katake, a dedicated and professional attorney from a historically disadvantaged background.

The Director is currently a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court for the Oberholzer Magistrate’s Court and the Westonaria Magistrate’s Court.
We also draft Wills for senior citizens on pro bono basis.

In case there is a conflict of interest our firm will advise the client accordingly prior to receiving and accepting instructions.

However should the conflict arise after we have been instructed we will also advise the client accordingly and request that we be recused from the matter.

No pending or past cases against the firm.
Our office has a sizeable Library to enable thorough research on any matter provided to us, we also have an unlimited email system that is up and running, office Mobile and telephone lines.

We also subscribed to Lexis Nexis to ensure that our research material is updated timeously.

We further have, as a resource, Windeed to help us identify and verify different property owners and to conduct various searches.

We keep abreast with 4Th Industrial Revolution by making sure that we conduct business meeting and consultation via ZOOM, and MICROSOFT TEAMS where necessary.

Our team is conducting all its work on Lexpro software.
Each department holds weekly meetings to discuss and to make checks and balances of the work done and the work to be done.

Reports are sent out to clients on a monthly basis and where necessary clients are telephonically informed about new developments.
We have taken part in different initiatives such as donating of school shoes to black disadvantaged children at local townships and we have most recently contributed towards Nelson Mandela day.
